2023 Calendar Submissions

Calling all photographers, painters, illustrators, designers, or makers of any kind, we invite you to submit a digital artwork to be featured in AW x FPP’s iconic printed CALENDAR 2023.

CALENDAR 2023 will feature twelve new artworks by artists and dreamers who inspire, challenge, and transform the way we think about what’s to come.

Fast Proof Press is Australia’s leading commercial printer, bringing their knowledge of the latest innovative printing possibilities to help make our creative dreams come true. CALENDAR 2023 will feature a series of artworks to stir the imagination and inspire you throughout the year, thoughtfully curated by Art-Work Agency’s creative team. ⁠

FUTURE DREAMS:

We invite reflection and projection on the topic of our shared future; one where things will be warmer, but creativity is essential, rest is just as important as work, community is everything and caring is the coolest thing you can be.

Flex your creative muscles to share your personal vision and dreams of what’s to come – nothing is too weird, so don’t hold back.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

1.     Ensure your artwork is saved in the following format: High Resolution (300dpi) JPEG or PDF, 300mm w x 400mm h.
2.     Complete the form linked below
3.     Art-Work Agency will contact selected artists via email by October 10 2022.

The Art-Work Agency team will curate twelve artworks to be featured in CALENDAR 2023 from the submissions. Art-Work Agency and Fast Proof Press will work with selected artists to finalise custom print finishes for their artwork and prepare it for print.

SELECTED artists will receive:
• 5 x calendars featuring their selected artwork, complete with a customised letter for family, friends and/or clients.

• Their selected artwork exhibitied in the CALENDAR 2023 Group Exhibition at Art-Work Studios in December 2022.

Selected artists will also have access to purchase a limited-edition print series printed by Fast Proof Press (optional).

JUDGE’S CHOICE AWARD:
Our Guest Judge (to be announced) will select one artwork from CALENDAR 2023 that embodies a thoughtful and innovative response to the theme, FUTURE DREAMS.

The prize is valued at over $3500, and includes:

• Your choice of a full-day hire Art-Work Photography Studio OR a one-week exhibition at Art-Work Gallery

• A custom print run with Fast Proof Press (details to be confirmed with selected artist).
